"I am the person who conceived this project firsthand and took responsibility for it, helping it materialize. Without the individuals who formed its core team, who were part of the process, sketching and redesigning it every day, putting it in schools, greenhouses, cars, streets, and the shows we created, this BOWING would have been something else. Gathering a good team so that a good project can come to life and be realized to the end is essential. The target audience of the project, the Asian population in Alentejo trying to decipher the lines of the journey towards their integration and fulfillment as individuals with a future, was the central focus of our attention and affection. Truly empathizing with those for whom we create an opportunity, in this case, of an artistic nature, seems to me to be a fundamental point. I immersed myself, guided, questioned, did, thought, did, thought, conversed, and, alongside the team, sculpted this approach between art and life, as important as it is challenging. Art as a tool for humanizing work, for reaching other worlds, for finding common well-being but also for the other, the foreigner who crosses paths, and the foreigner that we too, within ourselves, are."
