Sara Meng

Sara Meng (Aolan) is a woman from Mongolia who lives in Marmelete, in the municipality of Monchique. She lived several years in Germany and recently moved to Portugal. While attending the first performance, her attention was captured by Daniel Wang, the only Chinese boy in the group, and they began to converse in Mandarin. There was no one else near São Teotónio other than his parents, who spoke the same language as Daniel. In the second year, we invited Aolan to support Daniel during the sessions, talking with him, translating activities, in different moments. They formed a special relationship of closeness and companionship, a beautiful story that is part of the life of this project.
