A dance is not just a dance. It can be an image, a poem, a piece of music, a video, a collage, a drawing. Artistic and creative thought leverages infinite languages and manifests itself through forms and means that have no end. We do not approach artistic languages separate from one another. Instead we ask how the same theme, the same idea, can manifest itself through dance, music, and words. We attempt to excavate - to explore the issues to the limit from as many perspectives as possible. Sometimes we don't succeed and we hit walls. The sessions use different languages and often travel spontaneously across them... the solution to a music problem may lie in a photograph or the missing word of a text may be found in a body movement. This method creates integrated, whole thought connected to its context. It has no fixed or defined boundaries. Everything gains multiple layers and interpretations. We cannot separate activities or exercises in terms of language. Nothing belongs exclusively to movement or thought: the photograph of a landscape, for example, gives rise to a fiction which, in turn, inspires an exercise on inner landscapes which prompts a dance-portrait on the personality of each participant. In this sense BOWING is like a school without subjects but centered on themes, objects, emotions and experiences that, in turn, are seeds for the creation of performances. These performances are also not only dance or music or theater, but something that unites all these languages - a place where they get lost and merge to create something else.
