"I was invited by Madalena Victorino to be part of this project in 2020. I knew I was about to embark on a profound journey. BOWING redefined my relationship with artistic practice and opened paths for new encounters with dance and the Other. In BOWING DOC I was involved in co-creating and building the content of the website. As part of the Nuclear Team, during the first two years, I followed the various phases of the project. Alongside Madalena and Matilde, I brought the language of movement into the sessions. We created choreographies, exchanged dances, warmed up the body, moved from drawings to words, from words to movements, and from movements to drawings. Dance accompanied the entire project, always intersecting with other artistic practices. In the performances I took Madalena and Matilde's ideas into the bodies, guiding the large groups and collaborating on the various production fronts. I remember all the names of those who passed through the project, every face, and each person's role. This journey will stay with me forever. I am grateful to Madalena and Matilde for their generosity, trust, and complicity."
