Mohammad Faruk

Matilde met Faruk in São Teotónio, sitting at a bus stop. They started talking, and Faruk expressed interest in participating in the BOWING performance in November 2021. For rehearsals, he brought along his friends Banglas, and together they had a great time during the choreographies, being the liveliest group. Faruk is a very tender man whom we followed for two years. During the performances, he was very particular about his choice of costume and took great pride in being able to wear a blazer, insisting that it be a striped one. Madalena spent hours searching for this jacket in the warehouses of Lavrar o Mar, and when she found it and Faruk tried it on in front of the mirror, he said that afterall he didn't like it. He attended the second-year sessions very regularly, accompanied by his friends Khalil and Nayon. There was an immediate sense of comfort on our part in their presence.
